Peter Minuit Pod Freighter Class
One of the earliest pod designs in the Darjee portfolio was the Trader Class. The Peter Minuit Class of vessels are a derivative of this design used by the Darjee to open up new frontiers and make first contact with other potential trade partners.
Mounting twenty-seven pods in three rings, two forward and one aft of the command/crew-quarters bulge, the loss of the aft cargo ring was made up for by the inclusion of a weapons/sensor fit and additional small craft.
Weapons consisted of a pair of light particle beam projectors (Heresy - The Confederacy had no armed ships. The only armed ships we got from them were prehistoric warships built by Confederacy races and mothballed before the Confederacy was formed. -ZM)
In addition to the two internally carried pod tenders there were two House-Cat cargo shuttles (These shuttles were the basis for the Leopard Assault Shuttle but are unarmed and use less powerful maneuver drives.
The Peter Minuit Class have a similar performance Trader class.
