The Various Races in the Swarm Universe
This is a list of the various races that have been mentioned or are due to appear in stories within the Swarm Universe.
Confederacy Races
- The Humans were an early-space-age race from Earth until being recruited by the Confederacy as soldiers for the Swarm War.
- The Darjee were the Confederacy race charged with all contact with humans.
- The Tu'ull are known to build AIs with more independence than Darjee AIs.
- The Thring are vaguely mentioned in passing and not much is known of them.
- Little is known of the L'Chekt, but they are a race that appears in the Confederacy Database as developers of FTL drive technology.
- The Ruka had a single system Rukabat on the Sa'arm intrusion side of the Confederacy but moved ~500ly behind Earthat before Earth was contacted. See Thinking Horndog's 'The Chuck Hole' for details.
