Pern

Pern
Pern is in the Rukbat system and is Earthlike in that it had a molten iron core and an atmosphere roughly analogous to that of Earth with slightly higher oxygen. Gravity is approximately 1 G. Pern has two large continents, running north south like Earth's Americas and spaced on approximate opposite sides of the world. There are also two large island-continents, and a plethora of various sized islands, the latter mostly volcanic in origin. Axial tilt is not as pronounced as the Earth’s, and there are two moons, together massing slightly more than Luna. Tides are more complex and volcanic action more active.
Story Usage
A textual analysis of the story repository, current as of 9/2019 and performed on 2019-10-01 and using SS Lib ver 1.16.05 (9/27/2019) identified the following usage counts for Pern:
