Education in the Swarm Universe
This article should list or otherwise mention all "education" facilities mentioned in the Swarm universe. As most education and training starts with a session in a Sleep-Trainer to instill the basic knowledge needed to master the subject, most education facilities will concentrate their resources on practical training and exercises.
Pre-Adult Education
All Colonies will have an education department, usually supervised by the Civil Service, intended to give all dependent children the background they need to pass the CAP Test.
Adult Education
Most facilities (colony, base, etc) will have a 'continuing education' office which ensures that non-Sponsor adults can get whatever education and/or training they need for their assigned job(s). This will include any advanced schooling needed for a particular career.
List of (known) Education Facilities
- Port Carson University - Mentioned in "Ship's Morale Officer" as providing a Geology degree. Location unknown.
- Seifort Academy - Mentioned in "The Academy" as all personnel (Instructors, staff, and students) extracted and moved to Nuevo Angelino to form the core of the colony's education system.
