Digester

   A Digester or Recycler accepts waste, raw materials or other matter to store for future need or to directly supply a Replicator with the source materials it needs to fashion new items or supplies.  There is no limit to what it will accept other than the physical dimensions of the unit's opening.  Digesters and Replicators are usually mated into one unit and indeed often use the same 'working' area. The same volume that the Digester uses to accept waste materials is sterilized and then used for the Replicator's output.
