Confederacy Calendar

Confederacy Standard Annual Period

The Confederacy 'year' is known as the CSAP, this is the time period accepted by all races for inter-species communication. Each race still has it's own historic 'year' for local use.

One CSAP is equal to 383 Earth days. (From The Chuck Hole: 25 CSAP = 26.237 years)

Holidays

Only two holidays are officially recognized by the Confederacy.

Confederation Day

Which celebrates the founding of the Confederacy.

Ascension Day

This is a local holiday that each planet celebrates to mark the day it joined the Confederacy. In the case of the founding members of the Union, where Confederation Day and Ascension day would be the same it is usual to fix the date on which space flight was achieved.

Any other holidays are set by the local government/governor.
