Militia

   Militia is the generic title given to local forces raised to protect individual colonies.  Army is a substitute term that may be employed, but naming conventions differ between colonies.  By Confederacy policy, the uniform and equipment are of local manufacture and are often based on local designs, especially early in the diaspora.
   Generally, a colonial militia is recruited from available concubines with leadership provided by available sponsors.
