A brothel is a Civil Service establishment where unallocated concubines are held. In addition to being a storage facility it also provides a place for sexual relief as its name implies, for visiting or jaded Sponsors.
A colony's brothel has been used on occasion as a place of punishment for a concubine who forgets his/her station or cannot find other useful work.
