Earth First
Earth First was a political movement that first came to prominence in the United Kingdom when it was understood that not all Humans would be evacuated. Initially it tried to counter the will of the Government to support the Confederacy and in one way it was successful, forcing the incumbent parties to band together to oppose them. The philosophy, if not the party, swept across the globe and in many countries forced the elected officials to deny the Confederacy.
Despite the mounting casualties, especially amongst volunteers who were not recovered, the Confederacy continued to extract people and send them to the colonies.
The concept of Earth First split many times, spawning as many ideas as there were countries - some were peaceful, others not so.
