(Caveat:   I created and posted the below maps as a guide to various people who were writing stories about the Battle for Earth.  I pulled them from an excratory orifice and they may still smell.  Still, the set of maps that they replaced were far worse.  Trust me.
I will not claim that they are perfect and should be treated as canon.  They were quickly put together and almost certainly have places where they disagree with published stories that we consider canon.  If any of them disagree with a published story, please bring them up on the authors' email list.  I'd rather change the maps to fit the stories.  Of course, if a story hasn't been published yet, I'd rather change the story.
As of this note, the below maps have been here for more than two years with little comment.  The longer they stay undisturbed, the more people will consider them to be trustworthy reference files.  Eventually they will be accepted as canon no matter how badly they vary from the stories.  It would be better to find and fix all errors first. -ZM June 11, 2017)

September of year 14 - Extent of Sa'arm control at Month 165 - The Antarctica force has been eliminated during the southern-hemisphere winter but the surviving six forces are all expanding. The Siberian force is unable to break into the Ural Mountains, where the Russians have been building and improving their fortifications since 1941 but are able to expand to the north, east, and south:

December of year 14 - Extent of Sa'arm control at Month 168:

March of year 15 - Extent of Sa'arm control at Month 171 - The Chinese demonstrate in Myanmar that enough infantry can solve any problem. The Russians keep the Siberian force out of Europe, but cannot prevent the Siberian, Indian, and African forces from joining together east of the Caspian Sea:

June of year 15 - Extent of Sa'arm control at Month 174 - The Russians force the Sa'arm to skirt the Black Sea and move west into Europe. Other Sa'arm forces tunnel into Spain, Sicily, and Italy while massed Sa'arm break through the Dardanelles:

September of year 15 - Extent of Sa'arm control at Month 177 - Most of Europe has fallen although the Swiss and Austrian Alps appear able to hold out. There are no forces to oppose the Siberian force's expansion into Eastern Siberia:

December of year 15 - Extent of Sa'arm control at Month 180 - The high Alps are holding out but are isolated. Flooding the Chunnel does not stop the Sa'arm from reaching southern England. The Sa'arm manage to jump onto southern Sweden but can go no further as winter sets in:

March of year 16 - Extent of Sa'arm control at Month 183 - Over the winter the defenders clear England and Sweden:

June of year 16 - Extent of Sa'arm control at Month 186 - England and Sweden have been cleared and the Russians regained access to the Black Sea:

File:M186.png

September of year 16 - Extent of Sa'arm control at Month 189 - Corsica falls, and Both England and Sweden are battlegrounds again:

File:M189.png

December of year 16 - Extent of Sa'arm control at Month 192 - This map can be taken as the furthest extent of the Sa'arm control. While the defenders are exhausted, they are receiving support from off-world and can resupply with replicators. Between orbital weapons platforms and naval blockade, the Sa'arm are reduced to walking as any surface vehicle is destroyed as soon as it appears. They cannot cross any water barrier and can no longer overwhelm defenders with mass attacks. They lost too much taking Europe.:

March of year 17 - Extent of Sa'arm control at Month 195 - The Sa'arm do not fight well in cold weather. England has finally been cleared for good, part of European Russia has been recovered, The combined Chinese, Korean, and Japanese forces push the Sa'arm out of parts of Mongolia, and the North Americans finally make significant gains. Only in eastern Siberia/Kamchatka are the Sa'arm still advancing:

(Someday this will be a navigation template.  It will provide a bar across the bottom of each article with useful navigation links.  Until then, this is just a placeholder to get rid of all the red "broken link" indicators. -ZM User (talk) 10:00, 3 May 2024 (PDT))
