The Academy

Synopsis: The Governor of the colony of Nuevo Angelino recognizes that the ad-hoc educational system in use in his colony isn't producing sponsors -- so he sends a team to Earth to collect some professional educators with a Confederacy perspective. This results in a new and unusual kind of pickup. Prepare to see it through the eyes of a couple of dozen of the participants...

Canon implications: Mostly good, with some odd issues.  "Canon" says that, absent some contrary requirement, all CMC Marines are set at two meters height, or about 6-1/2 feet.  The Academy has a CMC Major who is noticeably shorter than a 6'2" woman and her 6'4" husband.
