Jack Lipton
Jack C. Lipton, who also posted as Soupy, Just Jack, and JJ, was an early internet writer specializing in short stories with word-play titles like "Insight Out" and "Grind Forces".
His spousal unit did not approve of her husband writing (AND POSTING!) smut, and convinced him that he would be happier if he took all his stories down and stopped doing perverted things. This must have happened several times, else why have so many pen-names? Who knows how many MORE pen-names he posted stories under?
If you want to read his stories, find someone who was active in the internet story-telling scene between 1990 and 2015 and ask them if you can 'borrow' a copy of <insert long list of author handles>'s stories. Just don't post them on the public internet, or he'll get in trouble again.
List of Jack Lipton's Swarm Cycle stories with Synopses and Notes
(None of his stories are supposed to be on the public internet. We can have our own copies, just don't post them on a public server.) His ASSTR page showed all of them being posted (or revised) in 2007 and 2008:

Jack also posted an early list of ship types and weapon systems, apparently generated by smashing clay models of "Star Wars" and Ian Banks' "Culture" ships together. Much of the data provided turned out to not fit 'canon' as the Swarm Universe developed:

(Someday this will be a navigation template. It will provide a bar across the bottom of each article with useful navigation links. Until then, this is just a placeholder to get rid of all the red "broken link" indicators. -ZM User (talk) 10:00, 3 May 2024 (PDT))
