&amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;nbsp; The &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;San Pedro Bay&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; class of Transfer Pod Tenders (YPH) are the workhorses of the orbital harbors, holding and switching pods with colony and cargo ships.&amp;amp;nbsp; Conceptually they are based on the Auroras like many of our support designs.&amp;amp;nbsp; They are little more than spaceworthy frames with the capacity of holding up to 240 pods in forty rings of six.&amp;amp;nbsp; These are split with twenty each fore and aft of the rudimentary bridge, which also has two pod lighter bays.&amp;amp;nbsp; The YPH&amp;#039;s are FTL capable but just barely so they can move between planets inside the system they are assigned to.&amp;amp;nbsp; They are ponderous at best, as they are equipped with the same engines as an Aurora but with well over twice the mass even when &amp;#039;empty&amp;#039;. &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;amp;nbsp; As is typical for such utility craft, they are normally unmanned and operated by an AI.&amp;amp;nbsp; The first twenty built included space available for one single crew member.&amp;amp;nbsp; This was intended for use in case the Sa&amp;#039;arm arrives and the tender needs to flee the system with whatever it can carry with it.&amp;amp;nbsp; Later builds expanded that to the functionality of a standard residence pod, allowing an expanded crew which might be permanently assigned. &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
